2022 ANNUAL BLACK MUSIC HONORS

Celebrating Legendary Artists and Institutions Making a Significant Impact in African-American Music

The Black Music Honors are back again this year to host their 7th award show in honor of Black Legends who have made foundational contributions to American music, as well as the influences they have had on African American Community!

Central City Productions never fails to select hosts that will carry the show accordingly, and this year they have chosen Singer, Songwriter, and Actress LeToya Luckett & Comedian and Actor DeRay Davis to host this year's show! The 7th annual Black Music Honors will be honoring legendary artists like Tevin Campbell, Gospel Duo Mary Mary, R&B Group The Whisper, Keri Hilson, Dru Hill, Karyn White, and many more on May 19th in Georgia's Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During a conversation with Don Jackson, the Founder and Executive Producer of the esteemed Black Music Honors expressed that he and the rest of the team are "more than excited to return to in-person taping for the first time in nearly three years with a live studio audience. The pandemic had an unprecedented impact on the music industry and we’re honored to celebrate, commemorate and honor music trailblazers who have paved the way for the next generation of music and culture.”

Though the show will be taped on May 19th, the two-hour special will be making it to televisions across the country between June 4th and June 3rd, 2022! The Black Music Honors will be available to watch via Bounce TV on Saturday, June 25th! If you are interested to be present during the live taping of the award show, we are pleased to inform you that tickets are readily on sale!
