STELLAR AWARDS 2022— 37th Stellar Awards! Nominees, Carpet Looks & Interviews


The BIGGEST night in the gospel is back, yet again, to make history for the 37th time! XBlaze Magazine was privileged with the opportunity to engage in exclusive one-on-one conversations with the evening's nominees, performers, and special guests on behalf of the numerous teens and young adults that tune into the award show annually! This year, the show will be taking place TOMORROW NIGHT on BET at 8pm ET on Sunday, August 7th!

Executively Produced by Central City Productions and StellarTV founder Don Jackson, with Jennifer J. Jackson serving as Executive in Charge of Production and Producer. The Stellar Awards recognize the year's best performances in the Gospel music genre, honor Gospel music icons, and acknowledge the accomplishments of individuals instrumental in advocating for the Gospel music industry! Producer and Director Michael A. Johnson will be in charge of the production and direction of this year's award show! With sponsorships from AT&T Dream in Black, Procter & Gamble (P&G), Walmart, State Farm, Toyota, McDonald’s – Black & Positively Golden, Aflac, and a partnership with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital—The 2022 Stellars will be hosted by the talented and beautiful Jekayln Carr and Kierra Sheard! This year's show is sure to be another one for the books as the list of nominees includes icons and game changers such as CeCe Winans, Pastor Mike, Jr., Tamela Mann, Jonathan McReynolds, Mali Music, Todd Dulaney, Kelontae Gavin, Maverick City Music, Israel Houghton, Ricky Dillard, E. Dewey Smith, and Jason Clayborn to simply name a few!
