After an entire year, Big Meech, Southwest T, and many more of our favorites will return to our screens… along with a few new faces we’ll soon fall in love with. Our friends at STARZ have granted us an immersive look into the new world of BMF in season four, and all we can say is that you’re in for a ride with twists and turns that will not only have you yelling at your screen but also looking around the room like, “Are you seeing what I’m seeing?”
For those of you reading and thinking, “B-M—huh?” Don’t worry. We’ll help catch you up to speed!
BMF, a notorious acronym for Black Mafia Family, is an original STARZ series induced by events that took place in the true-life story of the Flenory brothers. The deadly adventures, trials, and hardships of Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (played by son Demetrius “Lil’ Meech” Flenory Jr.) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (played by Da’Vinchi) are brought to life through the series that not only allows viewers to peer into the rise of one of the “most influential crime families in the country,” but also provides an opportunity for them to fully immerse themselves in the time period through the nostalgic aesthetic and scenery.
This Friday, June 6th — at 9 pm ET, to be exact—we’ll be joining Meech and Terry again to witness a number of their dangerous adventures for another eight episodes set to span across the entirety of June and the majority of July 2025. The brothers continue to work tirelessly to maintain the American dream for themselves, their family, and their loved ones while simultaneously battling their adversaries, authority, and, at some points, even themselves! Season four allows us to see just how much the lifestyle and personal moral differences affect the Flenory brothers and even the empire they’re trying to build. However, in the face of these challenges, Terry and Meech will try their best to adhere to their promise of “womb to the tomb,” but you’ll see that their time in Mexico has placed a strain on their relationship and trust within one another that may never be reversed.

In honor of the series’ return for its fourth season, we sat down with the creative minds, crew, and actors working tirelessly to put the idea on paper, mold the aesthetic, and portray the story. Earlier last week, we got to speak with Keia Bounds, Big Tank, Myles Truitt, Da’Vinchi, Michole White, and Russell Hornsby about their invaluable contributions to the BMF series in front of and behind the cameras.

In addition to the twists and turns that are sure to give you a little bit of whiplash this season, another thing portrayed throughout the season this year is a high level of rawness when it comes to family, relationships, and being outright human, especially in a world or community that can oftentimes be against you. That being said, with respect to the season, we’ve provided the raw-form audio files of our discussions with BMF’s crew and cast! Connect your headphones or speaker, scroll a bit, and enjoy the conversation like a nosy neighbor peering out their window in the afternoon.
